"House in Muar" is a vernacular-style youth hostel with 662 square meters located at Bandar Maharani, Muar. Bandar Maharani is a place full of a vernacular feel and the buildings around the site remain the old-style design. The main function and purpose of this youth hostel is to aim for backpackers from other states or countries to stay.

 

This youth hostel provides and is designed as a multifunction hostel including a cafe, a small gallery, hostel rooms, a rooftop bar, and a common area. Promote and share the culture and history of Muar and Malaysia with the backpackers by using local cultural design and material (pattern, texture & colour) to provide a sense of locality to the guests.
